Google Search Engine

Six letters in each word of Google Search Engine makes it the number 666, at least in English.

However, whilst Google Earth has eyes over all the earth and can find all human knowledge placed on the internet (world wide web, www which some suggest looks a little like vivivi 666 in Roman numerals) and has a blog facility which enables people to publish their personal diaries, it is probably not the "person" mentioned in Revelation chapter 13.

" Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is six hundred threescore and six. "

Revelation 13 verse 18

All very exciting and when there are meetings on prophecy the numbers are always higher than for other subjects. It seems a lot of people are interested in the future.

It is of interest that the verse that follows draws our attention back to the Lord Jesus Christ as the Lamb:

"And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with Him a hundred forty and four thousand, having His Father's name written in their foreheads. "

Revelation 14 verse 1.



Speculation on the date that the "world will end" is often the realm of cults and their followers are rarely told to look towards the Lamb (The Lord Jesus Christ) who was crucified on Golgotha/Calvary/the Place of the skull for our sins.

The central theme of Scripture is the death of the Lord Jesus on the cross in order that our sins might be forgiven and our place secured in Heaven.

The only ones in Heaven will be those who have received Christ as Saviour.

They can sing a new song [showing newness of life and having been born again] which says:

"For Thou wast slain and hast redeemed us to God by Thy blood"

Revelation 5 verse 9.

Which religion is right?

When pressed on this point many say there’s a little bit of truth in every religion and there are as many paths to God as there are people.
